I’ve noticed how some colors look so alive in a garden or forest and the same colors used in a surface design can be uninteresting. Sometimes that’s desirable, as they’re soothing to the eye and easy to live with. Here are some of the beautiful living greys I’ve been seeing around me, and an owl drawing in graphite, one of my favorite mediums.
